Allocative and Productive Efficiency
Allocative efficiency is where no one can be made better off without making someone else worse off. This is not the socially optimal point, but it is better than a solution that fails to meet allocative efficiency.
Productive Efficiency is concerned with producing goods and services with the optimal combination of inputs to produce maximum output for the minimum cost.
